Antibody Humanization
Because mouse monoclonal antibodies can elicit human anti-mouse antibody (HAMA) responses in patients, it is usually necessary to replace the murine content with the corresponding human amino acid residues for clinical applications. We provide a robust and efficient antibody humanization service which consistently retains affinity and specificity levels.
Follow on support can include development of stable producing cell line clones and antibody production/purification.
Antibody Chimerization
As well as converting antibodies into a human framework, we are often asked to transfer human antibodies into a mouse or other species framework in order to improve the sensitivity of diagnostic assays, by reducing the competitive binding of non-target proteins. Our antibody chimerization service can insert a human variable single chain domain into a full size mouse IgG clone format, and deliver a cleaner signal in in vitro assays.
Antibody Affinity Maturation
If you need an antibody with high affinity, our antibody affinity maturation service will improve antibodies and antibody fragment affinities by several fold. We do this by generating random mutations followed by selection using phage display.
Antibody Labeling
For greater visualization and quantification of target interactions, we can add biotin, fluorochrome or HRP conjugates to antibodies.
