Our state-of-the-art facilities and expertise enables us to deliver a complete service, starting with cloning of your antibody right through to small-medium scale protein production, purification and quality assessment/control, to support your preclinical studies.
Transient Transfection Service
Clients come to us for small-scale protein production, when they need a high quality supply of purified recombinant antibody for their preclinical studies. Many want to validate their antibody in preclinical studies before investing in the development of a stable cell line for large-scale production. We’ll provide a reliable, fast and cost effective transient transfection service that produces up to 10mg of purified antibody, for shipping anywhere in the world.
You can provide us with a cDNA clone, your own antibody expression clone or even a protein or DNA sequence file. We will generate transiently transfected cell lines and assess their expression level by the most appropriate method: ELISA, or FPLC. We will culture the cell line in the most appropriate system, purify the recombinant antibodies from the conditioned culture medium by FPLC, and send the product directly to you in liquid or lyophilized form.

Stable Cell Line Generation
When you need continuous expression of your protein product for clinical studies and large-scale manufacturing, you need a stably transfected cell line with high production levels and optimum growth characteristics. We have the technology and experience to generate stable cell lines in high throughput, with efficient screening protocols and ClonePix selection technology to get you there in the shortest time possible.
You can provide us with a cDNA clone, your own antibody expression clone or even a protein or DNA sequence file. We will clone the antibody cDNA in our MQR vectors, generate stably transfected cell lines and evaluate their expression levels for you.
Alternatively, you may have a cell line that needs optimizing for growth and antibody production levels, or a cell pool that needs stabilizing and cloning.
We have a range of mammalian cell lines with different characteristics, giving us the flexibility to perform highly customized work to meet your specific antibody production needs.
Typically, we’ll deliver 2x 1ml vials of 106 cryopreserved cells/ml on dry ice within 3 months of cell transfection/selection, and we will keep a backup vial for 6 months.
